Considering I woke up this morning to the news that North Korea has declared “quasi-state of war” on good ole South Korea after some missiles were fired, I thought I’d give you all an update that I’m still alive and well.
I’ve known since May that I will be making the move to South Korea to play for IBK in my first full season abroad, but despite trying to prepare as much as I could the past few months, I was still left with the anticipation of what was to come. And after a plane ride across the globe, I’m here!
So I show up to the tryout on no sleep, but at that point I was still running on adrenaline from what all just went down. There are 6 teams in the Korean league, and all of them draft one foreigner (American) for their team when the 3 day tryout ends. Continue reading “Pro Veebs Overseas”
